The 12 Wedgwood plates on the rack along the west wall depict scenes for each month of the year and are from around 1910.
Heating is from a wood-burning stove and an electric storage heater, as well as a central heating radiator from the Esse. There is a music system which will play CDs and accept MP3 input and will play internet radio with suitable encouragement (explained in the instruction manual).
There is a small toilet and washroom off the southwest corner of the living room.
